Embark on an extraordinary journey from Sydney to Melbourne and experience wildlife, conservation, culture, coast & nature all in one spectacular overland touring adventure.
This tour has been designed to capture the very essence of one of Australia's most iconic road trips - the Sydney Melbourne Touring Route. The accommodation we stay in has been carefully chosen due to their unique locations and experiences. The places we visit are packed full of wildlife and nature and the cultural immersion experience at Yambulla is truly remarkable.
This tour can be booked as a PRIVATE TOUR at any time of the year. Just email us your travel dates and we will provide you with a private touring quote.
During this tour, we present an exclusive opportunity to stay at the beautifully remote off-grid Yambulla Lodge. Yambulla is a stunning 1,500 hectare property in southeastern NSW, Australia, surrounded by 200,000 hectares of National Park. It lies within country that holds great cultural significance to the indigenous Yuin and Bidhawal peoples who cared for it for thousands of years before colonial settlement. Jim Osborne, the current title holder of this property, comes from six generations of colonial farmers in the region. Concerned by the ways in which current models for land management are failing on important issues such as climate change, biodiversity decline and inclusive relationships with First Nations people, Jim is reevaluating what it means to be a landholder in Australia. By managing land through new models of co-custodianship that bring together Indigenous Knowledge, technology and science, Yambulla is producing better outcomes for land, environment and people. Proceeds from the lodge stays are reinvested into making this land the best it can be and supporting research and knowledge sharing for a better future of land management in Australia. Join us on this transformative journey, where the ethos of preservation and cultural appreciation merge, leaving a positive imprint on both the environment and the human spirit. As we traverse through breathtaking landscapes, we celebrate the beauty of Australia's natural treasures and the profound legacy of its indigenous custodians.
