ANOTHER AMAZING ADVENTURE Just returned from our third extended tour. Can’t say enough about the amazing time we had! Lots of challenging hiking, wildlife, and great company. If you want to see Australia in a unique way like none other I encourage you to book one of their tours. The guides are superb, knowledgeable and helpful. We always get to see wildlife that none of our friends or Australian family members have ever seen. This is a must for any wildlife enthusiast.

We wanted to write to express our massive appreciation for the incredible experience we had touring Mungo at the beginning of September! It's now been two months and we are still hardly able to believe what an amazing time we had. Our tour with you was the absolute highlight of our trip to Australia and New Zealand, and one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. You and Scott were incredible guides and we learned so much over the course of our 4 days there. We took with us a huge interest in birds which defined much of the rest of our trip, and we feel lucky to be able to see the birds in our home state in a whole new light. Everywhere we've gone since our return, we've had to allow extra time for identifying and photographing the birds we see! And our friends and family cannot believe the sheer amount and diversity of wildlife that we got to see on our tour. (We can hardly believe it ourselves!). Here are some of our favorite photos that Nate took. We would love to see some of the photos you took during our tour if you still have them. We were also especially impacted by the way that the history and traditions of the aboriginal people are preserved and carried on in the area, and this has inspired us to learn much more about the history of the native tribes in our home state and their connections with the nature here. While we still have much to learn, our new knowledge has deeply enriched our understanding of where we live, as well as our appreciation and respect for the historical and current stewards of the land we live on. We truly came away from our tour as changed people and we cannot thank you enough for making the experience so great. We hope to come back to Australia one day to explore the Northern Territory

Just wanted to touch base to thank you for our wonderful trip to the top end. Your tour was the highlight of our three weeks away. We loved the sites around Darwin, Kakadu and Mary River! (who wouldn’t). As people with a passing interest in birds, we were on a steep learning curve, but we did acquire the ability to identify a lot of new birds. Everyone on the trip was very helpful, assisting us locate the birds and in telling us what to look for. Scott was a fabulous guide, his knowledge of the wildlife and the local flora was immense. His ability to spot different birds, mammals and reptiles was amazing. His enthusiasm was contagious!

WILDLIFE JOURNEY : WOW If you want to see wildlife in Australia, this is the tour for you. We learned SO much on this tour! Guide was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, & passionate about wildlife and about conservation. She involved us with teaching about the animals/birds and making an effort to get us up close. We did get quite close to kangaroos, to koalas, Fruit Bats (Flying Foxes), to beautiful birds – multiple times, and we even got close to a wombat. East Gippsland contains 60% of the large mammals and 40% of the bird population of Australia. Excellent!

YOU DON’T NEED TO CHANGE A THING Linda and I just wanted to thank you for the great time we had in Australia with Martin and Scott. They both worked so hard to show us everything we wanted to see and to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable. We learned so much not only about the animals but also about Australia and the history of the indigenous people. The accommodations were excellent, the food at all the local cafes, pubs and restaurants was excellent. All we can say is thank you and you don’t need to change a single thing. https://australiangeographictravel.com/tours/mungo-outback-and-conservation-journey-victoria-and-new-south-wales
