Afterwards, we will enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lovely Marley’s Cafe in Stanley before we pack up and head into the forest for our first full day of photography. Today will be filled with stunning cool temperate rainforest, the largest in the southern hemisphere, as we walk through the Julius River and Lake Chisholm reserves, admiring the towering trees and the beautiful ferns of the forest floors. After lunch in the forest, we will head further into the woods to explore the breathtaking milkshake hills. Dinner will be at the Tall Timbers restaurant before retiring on the first day.

Get up early for breakfast at Marley’s before heading to the Southern region of the Takayna/Tarkine, where we will explore the old mining township of Corinna before boarding the Arcadia III for a relaxing yet photographically rich cruise up the Pieman River to the Pieman Heads, where the river meets the ocean at the Edge of the World. Venture back via the Western Explorer Road for a sunset shoot at some of Takayna’s/Tarkine's ancient towering coastal formations. After sunset, we will return for dinner at Tall Timbers and retire for the evening.
