About This Tour

Discover the extraordinary wildlife of Far North Queensland on this immersive five-day safari through two of the world's most biodiverse environments.

Cairns/Gimuy is the gateway to the only place on earth where two UNESCO World Heritage Areas exist side by side, the ancient Daintree Rainforest/Kaba Kada and the Great Barrier Reef, creating an unparalleled concentration of unique and endemic species found nowhere else in Australia.

From the dense tropical rainforest of Cape Tribulation/Kulki and the wildlife-rich waters of the Daintree River to the cool mountain streams and volcanic crater lakes of the Atherton Tablelands, this tour covers an exceptional range of habitats with a dedicated focus on wildlife encounters. With forty per cent of Australia's bird species recorded in the region alongside an extraordinary diversity of mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, every day delivers remarkable sightings guided by expert local naturalists with intimate knowledge of the region's most special and rarely visited locations.
